Tara Property Management South and Tara Vacation Rentals begins its story in the heart of Whidbey Island as the longest tenured vacation management business in the area. Brad and Karen Jaeger, a dynamic duo both in life and in the property management arena, purchased Tara Property Management South in 2010. Brad, as licensed broker and resident comedian, heads up this side of the business with 30 years of property management experience. His wife, Karen, having spent 10 years in ESCROW and (as we assume) is Wonder Woman in disguise, masters the bookkeeping for the whole company and personally manages the other half of the company, Tara Vacation Rentals, purchased by the Jaegers in April of 2012.
Since the Jaegers purchased Tara Vacation Rentals, the number of vacation homes we manage has quadrupled. With a focus on quality vacations and excellent customer service, the business continues to flourish. The company claims patronage from a versatile audience, reaching from our seasoned vacationing veterans to millennial explorers. We're hoping our next customer will be YOU!
So are you feeling bored? Maybe a little unproductive? Tired of driving past the same old neighborhoods and street signs? Was your last "vacation" an exciting trip to the grocery store? Maybe it's time to shake things up a little...
Now is the time to get away. Whether you are looking for a romantic retreat for you and that special someone, an ambitious and action-packed (as they tend to be) family trip to remember, a quiet, secluded spot to hide out from the paparazzi or whoever else may be on your tail, or perhaps even a mid-life-crisis-meets-the-most-epic-excursion-since-the-last-National-Treasure-movie kind of adventure, Tara Vacation Rentals is the place to call. Our vacation rental homes are available for 2-3 nights, 1 week, 2 weeks or more! Peak season starts the Thursday before Memorial Day and runs through the end of September (some homes have variations of rates throughout the peak season). We have a 2 night minimum except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years (which have 3 night minimums), and July and August (which have 4 or 7 night minimums).
